We can sometime forget the importance of the woodland waters, rivers, streams and waterfalls. They truly are the life of our forests. Our forests are alive and hundreds of species of trees, plant life and countless little forest animals are being fed and supported by this blue blood of the forest. How I love standing beside a waterfall or stream just feeling the energy of the vibrant life of the forest and its ability to survive the seasons, the years, and the centuries.
