This was the first canvas painted that began this series. There was so much I wanted to say as I have always felt so much respect, admiration and thankfulness for the women who have blessed my life. My mother, my wife, my daughter and countless other women who have not gone unnoticed. Strangers at home and in distant lands, women who share the same incredible qualities of inner strength, inner beauty and wisdom. The lovers of their mates and the mothers of their children. Women...your strength, passion and sensitivity is immeasurable and in my mind just about equals the power of mother nature herself.
